Agreement made the ______ day of __________________, 19____, between
_______________________________, hereinafter called the Author (single or multiple), and Publishers/Editors of "Labyrinth. An International Journal for Philosophy, Feminist Theory and Cultural Hermeneutics". Whereas, the Author has written a paper entitled ____________________________________________________, which has not
been published in any form, and the Author is sole owner of the manuscript there of and of all right, title, and interest therein.
It is agreed as follows:
1. Assignment. The Author hereby assign to the Publishers/Editors the right to publish and distribute the said manuscript and to create derivative works, electronic and print, from said manuscript. The assignment shall be effective so long as "Labyrinth" is available.
2. Certain Rights Reserved to Author. The Author shall remain the sole owner of the copyright in said manuscript. The Author may publish the manuscript in any other journal or medium but such publication must include permission from the Publisher/Editors and notice that the manuscript was first published by "Labyrinth".
3. Style and Form of Publication. The Author's name shall be conspicuously printed on the title page of said article when published. The paper shall contain notice that the Author of the article retains the ownership and publisher copyright and that if the Author subsequently publishes the paper in another journal or medium such publication shall contain notice that the paper was first published in "Labyrinth".
The editors of "Labyrinth" reserve the right to edit, correct and select appropriate material from the submitted paper for publication, according the style and standards of the publication.
4. Infringement of Copyright. The Author agrees to hold "Labyrinth" harmless for any unauthorized use of the article by "Labyrinth" readers and subscribers, as well as inappropriate and unauthorized use over the Internet and the World Wide Web. Any distribution or publication of said paper by subscribers shall constitute an infringement of the Author's and Publisher's copyright.
