Blogtalk reloaded #4

so what is "social software"? danah boyd is quoting some definitions, but at the moment this low-key statement from her abstract was the one point that interested me most: social software's "significance comes from the interplay between the technology and the use". plus "sociality" as a metaphor, i suppose.

but now we will go into the innovative "conversation" formats ... [most of the official "social subjects" just don't interest me much. i seem to be intuitevely less interested in what goes on with real people who are using social 'tools', and more in the kind of unique and abstract intelligence and momentum building up in sociallly driven digital environments]
